Illustrative/ layout work
Projects In which we used illustration to make different designs from posters, to boxes, and maps
Surly Darkness
This assignment was for the surly brewing company for their surly darkness Beer bottles, illustration. We had to make a Creature that represented the darkness and theme of the surly brand. From many different topics and research that I have done, I decided to do a. Demonic teddy bears since it hasn’t really been done much and wanted to give a more cutesy yet ominous feel. I’m very proud of what I was able to do, especially with the limited color palette of black, red and white.
Lipstick box
As part of this packaging assignment, we had to create new packaging for an existing project. I created a tarot-themed box and designed a collaboration box using the MAC lipstick box. Making sure that the boxes folds didn’t distort the design was a difficult task. I managed to rearrange the details such that the design appeared clean and seamless.
Farmers Market Poster
The goal of this project was to create a poster for the farmers market. The most challenging aspect of this job was deciding which colors to use for the type. I wanted to make the type stand out while yet blending in so that everything looked cohesive and I managed to create an entertaining welcome poster by making the typography match the topic.
